The course participants were introduced to the peculiarities of cybersecurity in industrial management systems, cybersecurity management standards and platforms as well as to modes of application of the cybersecurity principles to industrial networks. Besides, the trainees learned about Assets Management as cyber defense category that belongs to the cybersecurity risk identification class of cyber defense actions.
The acquired knowledge was backed up by practical skills, as particular emphasis was placed on the practical component, i.e. implementing of cyber defense actions on the cybersecurity test stand of energy sector management systems.
“Such trainings are extremely relevant and timely in the context of the full-scale russian invasion, massive missile strikes and cyberattacks on critical infrastructure facilities, especially those in the energy sector. This test stand, provided by our partners, is an essential element of practical training,” says Volodymyr Mishchenko, head of the Training Center.
