The State Cyber Protection Centre of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine has received modern server equipment and specialized software as part of international technical assistance from the Civilian Research and Development Foundation Global (CRDF Global). The new hardware and software will significantly enhance Ukraine’s capacity to counter cyberattacks and protect critical infrastructure.
The assistance was provided under the project "Cybersecurity Support for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Threats and Related Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine". The received hardware and software have been integrated into key components of the Vulnerability Detection and Cyber Incident/Cyberattack Response System.
The new server capacities and data storage systems have improved the performance, reliability, and continuity of the analytical systems of the State Cyber Protection Centre. This, in turn, enables the processing of much larger volumes of data, faster detection of potential threats, and more efficient response to cyber incidents.
The provided assistance represents an important contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities in cyberspace. The State Cyber Protection Centre of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine continues to actively cooperate with international partners to ensure the stability and security of the nation’s digital infrastructure.
