Major objectives of the SSSCIP
State Cyber Protection Center



The SSSCIP State Cyber Protection Center is a government institution included in the overall structure of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.

The major objectives of the SSSCIP State Cyber Protection Center include:

  • Implementation of the organizational and technical cybersecurity model as part of the national cybersecurity system;

  • Arrangements for the creation and operation of core components of the Secure Internet Access System for Public Authorities;

  • Arrangements for the creation and operation of the National Information Resource Antivirus Protection System;

  • Audits of information security and cyber defense of critical information infrastructure facilities;

  • Arrangements for the creation and operation of the Vulnerability Detection and Cyber Incident and Cyberattack Response System as regards cyber defense objects;

  • Arrangements for the creation and operation of the coordination system among computer emergency response teams;

  • In close cooperation with other cybersecurity actors, designing cyber threat response scenarios, counteractions to such threats, cyber training programs and methodologies;

  • Arrangements for the creation and operation of the National Center for Public Information Resources Backup.
