The State Cyber Protection Centre of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection, in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is bolstering Ukraine’s cyber defence capabilities. Through the USAID Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity, the Centre has received cutting-edge software and equipment to enhance its operations.
The following has been received as part of the assistance:
● A high-performance data storage system that ensures availability, security, and recovery.
● Advanced tools for the Computer Emergency Response Team of Ukraine (CERT-UA):
◦ A platform for analyzing threats and risks related to domains. It helps prevent connections to malicious resources and enhances investigation efficiency, including identifying infrastructures used for attacks;
◦ A tool for detecting and analyzing malicious files and links.
Thanks to this assistance, the State Cyber Protection Centre has expanded its capabilities for investigating cyber incidents and reliable storing of important information. This collaboration demonstrates the shared commitment of the State Cyber Protection Centre and USAID to fortify Ukraine’s digital resilience and safeguard its critical systems.
