As part of international technical assistance and with the support of the USAID project "Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure", the State Cyber Protection Centre of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SCPC SSSCIP) expanded and improved the functionality of the National Center for Reserving State Information Resources, in particular the disaster recovery system of the national electronic information resources, and expanded the functionality of the Vulnerability Detection and Cyber Incident and Cyberattack Response System (the “System”) subsystems.
The provided capabilities include a software product that enables operation of the disaster recovery system for national electronic information resources used to provide services to critical infrastructure facilities, as well as telecommunication and network equipment and a software product that boost up the System’s capacities to detect and respond to abnormal activities within cyber defense targets’ communication networks, and enable collection and analysis of network telemetry in the information and communication systems.
With the received software products and telecommunication and network equipment, SCPC SSSCIP has ensured the continuous operation of the critical information infrastructure facilities and improved the capacity to protect them from potential cyber threats, improving reliability of the state information security.
